Individual Psychotherapy

Individual relational psychotherapy supports transformation through exploring our own experience and gently re-patterning the way we engage in relationships. As humans grapple with the larger questions of how our intersecting and complex identities fit within families, communities, and broader cultural contexts, we are constructing and excising parts of the self with lasting outcomes. In individual therapy I work alongside you on the goals we set together, while supporting the kind of reflective skills that will aid in self-awareness and exposing, and exploring, unconscious relational patterns.

Starting out in individual therapy begins with a free 15-minute consultation to connect and mutually determine whether the relationship feels like a good fit. I look forward to connecting with and learning about you!

Youth & Adolescent Psychotherapy

Youth and adolescence can be such a beautiful time of development and growth, as well as a vulnerable time in identity formation. Young people benefit from a nurturing and brave space to express themselves, process and reflect on their experiences, and learn skills to support them in achieving their goals. My years of experience and special interest in supporting young humans and families of adolescents stems from a desire to engage with the emerging relationship and identity needs that present in this phase of life.

It is a strength to ask for help! If you or a young person in your family or community is struggling with a particular experience or relationship, or more generally seeking connection and support outside of family of origin, I encourage you to reach out to discuss next steps in getting help. Additionally, families may benefit from therapy support in responding to youth exploring their gender/sexuality and coming out as queer/trans. I recognize the importance of including connected adults in the therapy process at times and am available for family sessions or family consults with consent, in addition to individual youth/adolescent therapy.

Couples & Family Psychotherapy

Sharing life with others can be a gratifying and meaningful experience of joy shared, while also illuminating and activating our most core issues. In relationship with intimate partners or family members - in family of origin or chosen family - therapy provides a consistent space to strengthen emotional bonds, and to connect with each in a supportive and safe environment to work through challenges and areas of growth.

Couples, poly partnerships, and families benefit from therapy at any stage so individuals can openly talk about their values, differences of opinion, and expectations in a supportive environment. Some couples and families find they need help navigating major life changes, loss, illness or specific mental health struggles in the couple, family or extended family/community. Additionally, families may benefit from therapy support in responding to youth exploring their gender/sexuality and coming out as queer/trans.
